317 Young Professionals Join the Group of Turiba Graduates (0)

This year summer graduation in Turiba University was held on 13 June and 317 graduates joined the group of Turiba graduates. 12 diplomas of first level study programmes, 247 diplomas of bachelor study programmes, 56 diplomas of master study programmes and two diplomas of doctoral studies were awarded.

This summer graduation ceremony was special for Faculty of Communication which for the first time in its history awarded Turiba Golden Coin and the traditional academic hat for young doctorates of communication sciences Renāte Cāne and Inga Pūre.

It should be noted that the graduate of Faculty of Communication Renāte Cāne for several years is one of the favourite lecturer among students. Renāte Cāne is a unique graduate; she has graduated four study programmes from Turiba and obtained diplomas for the first level, bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes.

Awarding of authors of the best researches in Faculty of International Tourism has already become a tradition. Gifts and appreciations for important researches in particular field in the graduation ceremony were prepared by hotel Tallink HotelGallery Park Hotel outdoor terrace, Europa Royal Hotel, restaurant Le BohemeDome Hotel & SPA, hotel Radi un draugiGrand Palace HotelTravelnews.lvWellton  hotelMonika Centrum Hotel, Jaunpils Castle and Mercure Hotel. Ten graduates of IFT were feted: Edgars Kokins, Madara Dūmiņa, Naura Kikuste, Tatjana Krivdenko, Ieva Lazdāne, Alīna Panavasa, Monta Purvlīce, Egija Reča, Laura Strazdiņa, Inita Vāciete and Sintija Žukovska.

This year also foreign students from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Finland, Spain and Uzbekistan. graduated from the University.
