Elections to the Constitutional Assembly of Turība University to be held (0)

In accordance with the University’s Satversme (Constitution), elections of representatives at the Constitutional Assembly of Turība University are to be held on 7 October 2019.

Elections will be held in Room 119 of Building C from 12:00 to 18:15. Full-time teaching staff, general staff as well as students have the right to vote.

The Constitutional Assembly has twenty representatives. One representative shall be nominated by the Board of the University, while the remaining representatives shall be elected by secret ballot from the groups of University staff: 12 representatives of the academic staff, four representatives of University full-time students and three representatives of the general staff.

Composition of the Election Commission:

1) Zane Treigūte – Chairperson of the Commission;

2) Jolanta Brilte - Secretary

3) Juris Ozols;

4) Nadīna Kokoreviča.

In addition, it is possible to get acquainted with the Regulations for the election of the Constitutional Assembly representatives and the list of candidates (the list of candidates of the Student Council).

* Students must present their ISIC cards at the election.
