Team of Turiba University will participate in the International Mediation Tournament in Vilnius (Lithuania) (2)

From 24 till 25.01.2019 International Mediation Tournament will take place in Vilnius (Lithuania). The tournament is organised by Mykola Romeris University. This will be a part of Erasmus+ project “Online Study Platform on Mediation”, leaded by Turība University, dissemination event. A team of students from Turiba will represent our University in this event.

10 highly skilled teams from Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Italy, Austria, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Poland will compete in this International Mediation Tournament. Turiba team will be represented by 3 students who successfully completed Intensive Course on Mediation last summer– Kristina Nesterova, Dace Kauliņa and Tushar Parnami.

Other students from Turība University are welcome to cheer-up and support our mediation team by joining their trip to Vilnius, staying in the city for one or both days and being present in mock-mediation sessions. The Mediation Tournament is an open event, so supporters and observers are welcome to competition sessions. During the tournament participants will have a chance to test their skills in mediation, attend seminars and network with students from other teams.

Representatives from universities and mediation training institutions, mediators, lawyers and psychologists are welcome to apply also for the Conference “Learning and Practicing Mediation" which will take place in the beginning of the event on 24.01.2019.
