Has been issued the book "English Lessons. Present Continious" by Andris Pētersons, the Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Communication of Turiba University, and his student-  Nigina Khalmukhamedova.  The idea of a book was born in Moldova, where Professor Andris Pētersons taught business communication to business students at the Free International University of Moldova. One of the tasks was writing short stories about business.

Moldova is a mysterious place where legends place, at nights skies are full of stars there unless it is overcast. If it's overcast, you cannot see anything. A mysterious feeling in both cases. The inhabitants of Moldova are still proud of one of their rulers, the gospodar Stefan cel Mare, who ruled from 1457 to his death in 1504 and was friends with the one and only Count Dracula. The past and the present together because Stefan cel Mare is still found in monuments and badges. The past and the present are also chewed up in the book, in which short stories are ranked in one long, richly illustrated event.

There are many talented students at the Faculty of Communication who paint, sing, or do long jump. Student Nigina Khalmukhamedova is an excelent illustrator and thanks to her open heart, clear mind and precise hand the illustrations for the book "English Lessons. Present Continious" were made.

Andris Pētersons and Nigina Khalmukhamedova are glad to see a joint result. Of course, the publishing house was the high quality "Turība" which is managed by Daiga Rugāja.  The book was a big dream of Nigina. She succeeded in implementing it thanks to her diligence and opportunities given by the Faculty of Communication of Turiba University. The book is devoted to people who have the most time for others - they are grandmothers. The book is not for sale, it is for friends. But anyone can go to the National Library of Latvia or to the library of Turiba University, which is very convenient for students, and read the book there.
