Turiba Will Be Represented at the Geneva Peace Conference (0)

On Friday, 24 October the dean of the Faculty of Communication assoc. prof. Andris Pētersons will take part at the Gevena Peace Conference in the United Nations office in Geneva (Switzerland). Significant event in the world Geneva Peace Conference: Mobilizing Civil Society for Building Peace is devoted to contribution of non-governmental organizations, academic staff of the universities and journalists in maintenance of peace around the world.

Andris Pētersons was invited to the conference by the Culture Academy Balturka, which is represented in Latvia by Faruks Karačans. Significant representatives of non-governmental organizations, journalists, leaders of religious organizations, politicians and scientists, for example, Ela Gandi, granddaughter of Mohanda Gandhi, theologian, member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee Gunnar Johan Stålsett, manager of the Journalists and Writers Foundation Mustafa Yeşil.
