Turiba XXII International Scientific Conference

The XXII International Scientific Conference “Artificial Intelligence and Green Thinking” takes place on April 21 and 22, 2021. Adapting to the situation in the country and the world, it is planned that the conference will take place both in person and online - on the Cisco Webex platform.

From virtual assistant SIRI to drones - artificial intelligence solutions are entering our daily lives rapidly. Although science fiction often illustrates artificial intelligence as robots with human characteristics, it can include anything, including innovative solutions that help protect the environment. 2020 has seen incredible advances in artificial intelligence, but significant improvements are still needed in infrastructure and energy efficiency, such as extensive and in-depth research to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including building sustainable infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation.

A panel discussion “Latvia as a great power of green and smart technologies - areas, opportunities, challenges” with the participation of various Latvian experts, presentations of foreign experts will challenge the field of artificial intelligence, as well as offer practical workshops. On the second day of the conference, students will work in five sections: business and tourism, communication, law, education, and information technology.

The first day of the event will be live streamed on the Turība University’s Facebook page, it is not necessary to apply to watch the stream. The live broadcast will be available HERE.
