Therefore, Turība University offers communication studies at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, providing an opportunity for both new communication students and practicing professionals to acquire new knowledge in the field of communication.

Communication can be studied at the Faculty of Business Administration of Turība University, which offers the following study programs:

The bachelor's study program “International Communication Management” provides an opportunity to learn how to plan, organize, and manage an organization’s international communication, analyze information, target audiences, and communication channels, create and plan international communication management, analyze communication risks, predict potential crises, and engage in crisis management, as well as acquire other valuable skills.

Master’s Program “Strategic Communication Management”

Turība University offers a Master's degree program “Strategic Communication Management”, developed in collaboration with communication industry professionals, and designed in accordance with modern principles of strategic communication and trends in digital communication. The program also includes a new specialization: Digital and Multimedia Communication, which incorporates courses such as Strategic Communication Management in a Multimedia Environment, Digital Communication and Social Media Marketing, Graphic Design and Visualization, and Communication Psychology.

The Head of the Department of Communication Sciences, Jana Bunkus, emphasizes:

“This is nearly the perfect educational package for communication specialists and professionals who want to acquire or strengthen their knowledge in the field of strategic communication. Today, no communication step can be imagined without a thoughtful, meaningful, and goal-oriented approach, with a vision for both the short-term and long-term. Building a company’s stable reputation and brand value aspects has become more important than ever. We live in a digital age, and a communication professional's expertise is no longer just about managing public relations or international communication professionally, but also about applying multimedia – which is precisely why this new specialization was introduced”.

Doctoral study program “Communication Management”

To gain greater career growth opportunities, higher earning potential, and broader knowledge and understanding in communication, Turība University offers a doctoral program “Communication Management”. This program allows students to develop research and pedagogical skills while acquiring new knowledge in integrated marketing communication, media and communication science, and management science, including strategic, communication, and media management. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their competencies in problem-oriented research, linking communication and management. The program is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired at a higher level.

All doctoral students have the opportunity to join the European Journalism Observatory (EJO) international network of researchers and media professionals, as well as apply for the EJO scholarship at the Free University of Berlin.

Creative space “DigiCom”

Under the umbrella of the Department of Communication Sciences, there is the creative space “DigiCom”, which aims to make studies more practical and creative. “DigiCom” provides students with the opportunity to learn and improve practical skills in creating audio, photo, and video communication materials.

The aim of the communication space is to advance students' thinking and their connection with the specific industry, as well as serve as a breeding ground for ideas and creative approaches to solving various specific situations, such as case studies. The “DigiCom” creative space is equipped with audio (microphones, speakers, computers for sound editing, etc.), photo, and video equipment
