Education fair in Tashkent
Elizabete Freimane, our International Project Coordinator, is attending an education fair in Tashkent today, October 2. She is also expected to represent Turība University Kazakhstan in Astana and Almaty this weekend. At these events, people interested in studying abroad can speak with university representatives about the different programs offered. Turība University's popular programs include Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Computer Systems. The university focuses on practical, business-oriented programs.
During the business trip, Elizabete had the opportunity to meet Reinis Trokša, ambassador from the Embassy of Latvia in Uzbekistan. During their discussions, they explored the various study opportunities available in Latvia for Uzbek students. This meeting was crucial in establishing and reinforcing international cooperation between Latvia and Uzbekistan.
