The competition for 10 study vacancies in the double degree programme for the academic year 2025/2026 shall hereby be announced in accordance with bilateral agreements concluded between higher education institutions and the clause 2.5. of the Regulations on procedure for studies in the double degree and bilateral exchange programmes.

Full time students of the 2nd study years of the professional bachelor’s study programme “Tourism and Hospitality Management”, “Business Administration”, “International Communication Management” and students of the 1st study years of the professional master’s study programme “Business Administration” and “Tourism Strategic Management” shall be eligible to participate in the competition providing that they:

• are studying “English for special purposes” in the highest level group;
• have no academic debts for the previous study period,
• have no outstanding financial obligations due towards Turība,
• have an average mark not less than 7 for the previous study period,
• meet additional criteria set for the selection of students by the respective Faculties in accordance with the clause 2.4.3. of the Regulations on procedure for studies in double degree and bilateral exchange programmes.

The evaluation criteria for the competition shall be as follows:

• Average mark of the student during the previous study period;
• Foreign language mark of the student;
• Additional criteria set by the respective faculties.

The number of study places for the academic year 2025/2026 shall be divided among the respective programmes as follows:

• professional bachelor’s study programmes “Business Administration” - 2 places for studies at Aachen University of Applied Sciences;
• Professional bachelor’s “Tourism and Hospitality Management” - 2 study places for studies at Excelia Business School;
• professional bachelor’s study programmes “International Communication Management”- 2 study places for studies at Kiel University of applied sciences;
• professional bachelor’s and master’s study programmes “Business Administration”- 2 study places for studies at Excelia Business School;
• professional master’s study programmes “Tourism Strategic Management”- 2 study places for studies at Rey Juan Carlos University.

The deadline for submission of applications for the competition is the 26th of February, 2025.

Students, who wish to apply for study places in the bilateral exchange programme shall submit their applications to the international Office by e-mail exchange@turiba.lv

The results of the competition shall be announced on 28th of February, 2025.

The results of the competition shall be published on Turība’s webpage www.turiba.lv.
