The Faculty of International Tourism continues its cooperation with LA FONDATION POUR LA FORMATION HOTELIERE
Despite the unfavourable conditions for international cooperation, the Faculty of International Tourism of Turība University continues its long-term cooperation with LA FONDATION POUR LA FORMATION HOTELIERE (Switzerland) as a partner institution, established in 1973 to support tourism and hospitality education in Eastern and Central Europe.
During these years, the Faculty of International Tourism, together with the support of LA FONDATION POUR LA FORMATION HOTELIERE, has organized several seminars for Latvian tourism industry and tourism educators, lecturers of the International Tourism Faculty, participated in a number of international conferences and joint publications. Support has also been received for the purchase of important databases and computer programs for studies and student study trips. It should also be mentioned that this spring the national examination commissions, thanks to the financial support of the fund, had the opportunity to use the recently purchased 5 laptops, which will be especially useful for the International Tourism Faculty during and after the Covid - 19 situation.
