On January 12, the elections of the Student Council’s Board of the Turība University took place online, electing the new President of the Student Council - Nikola Kovaļevska (3rd year student of the study program “Public Relations”), as well as the majority of the Board.

Elīza Anna Dubure (3rd year student of the study program “Public Relations”) was elected as the Vice President.

Sanita Strenga (3rd year student of the study program “Event Production and Management”) was elected as the head of the External Communication Department.

From now on, the head of the Culture and Sports Department will be Regīna Kadiķe (1st year student of the study program “Event Production and Management”).

The Marketing part will be led by Daniels Borgs, a 2nd year student of the study program “Public Relations”.

The International Cooperation part will continue to be led by Artūrs Potjomkins, a 2nd year student of the study program “Event Production and Management”, who was re-elected.

In the Academic part and the Cooperation part, the leaders were not elected in these elections. The leaders of these units will be elected in another re-election. Until the re-election, temporary officials will be appointed, or the current leaders will continue to lead the unit.

The Board of the Student Council is the main executive body and is responsible for the successful organization of the work of the organization and its individual parts.
