Evaluating the universities that offer business education, Latvian entrepreneurs have repeatedly ranked Turība University in the TOP3. The survey summarized the views of entrepreneurs on which universities operating in the field of business education are the most recognized. Entrepreneurs in the construction industry have ranked Turība University in the 2nd place, according to a survey conducted by the research center SKDS at the end of 2020. Higher education institutions that have been ranked in the top positions have also been praised in previous years - entrepreneurs have been evaluating higher education institutions in the field of business since 2015.

"For several years in a row, entrepreneurs have consistently ranked the same universities in the top places, which shows the quality of education that has been tested over the years. The respective higher education institutions have been working on the result for a long time both in the field of study offer and in communication with the society, which is also shown by the result. It should also be taken into account that higher education is not an everyday product or service, the opinion of which is changed quickly and often,” says SKDS director Arnis Kaktins.

In general, the University of Latvia (LU) (55,1%), Riga Technical University (RTU) (40,5%) Turība University (31,2%) have been re-ranked in the TOP 3. Analyzing the data in different sectors, it was concluded that in the manufacturing sector 48,1% of entrepreneurs welcome LU, 39,4% - RTU, but 27,7% - Turība University. In the trade sector, 57,1% prefer LU, 46,7% - RTU and 41,8% - Turība University. The construction industry ranks LU in the first place (48,2%), Turība University in the second place (35,2%), and RTU in the third place (34,6%). Representatives of the service sector ranked LU in the first place (57,3%), RTU in the second place (39,0%), and Turība University in the third place (26,8%).

The study was conducted from November 2020 to December 2020, surveying 750 entrepreneurs from different industries and regions throughout Latvia.
