FEEDBACK FROM THE COURSE STUDENTS
Kārlis, Turiba University, student of bachelor study program „Organisation security”
“Security nowadays definitely is a global issue. During this summer Course we had great opportunity to cooperate with students and teachers from neighbouring countries. This gave us possibility to explore approaches to security issues of each participating countries as well as security tendencies in European context. Also during the summer course I gained contacts which will be very useful for me in my professional life. I had opportunity to improve my knowledge in subjects which I already studied and also learn a lot of new things, especially from the foreign participants. I believe summer course is great opportunity not only for security field students, but also for any young specialist as we gained lot of new knowledge and got contacts for further development”.

„This summer school was great time for me. I met here many nice and interesting people and also learn something new. Very positive was the fact that summer school was in English. Also I gained 3 ECTS for this course. For me was very positive that in summer school took participation many students from other countries and also from different study fields. It gave us possibility to look on the security issues from different perspective.I would like also to encourage other students to participate in such summer schools or any other international project even some of them are afraid that everything is happening in English. In our summer school students were very positive and helped those who’s English was maybe not excellent. That why – you should try! I would definitely take part again in such project!”
