BUSINESS IDEA HACKATHON "TO BE"
Turība University Business incubator
Business Idea Hackathon "To Be"
Turība University Business Incubator, Faculty of Business Administration and Institute of Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility organize sustainable business idea hackathon "To Be" to prove that young people can create innovative and original sustainable business ideas in a 24-hour period. The hackathon takes place every year in January.
The hackathon gives young people the opportunity to not only gain valuable knowledge about entrepreneurship, but also to create their own unique business ideas. While working on their ideas, they also can consult mentors from different sectors and hear expert advice on developing a business plan.
"The Business Idea Hackathon is an excellent opportunity for pupils and students to try their hand at solving business problems and creating and presenting new business ideas. It is a dynamic environment to understand the importance of teamwork in achieving common goals, to receive immediate feedback and support from industry professionals and mentors, and to experience a truly competitive atmosphere. By participating in the hackathon, young people become the authors of their future business ideas and further drivers," emphasizes Evija Kļave, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Turība University.
The hackathon is open to young people aged 16 to 25 years and they can apply for a team of three to five participants.
The sponsors of the Hackathon are logistics company "Miandum" and printing group "Mūkusala".
The event is held in Latvian.
